Challenge
Whatcom Hospice offers top-quality, end of life care for every patient, regardless of ability to pay, along with thoughtful bereavement offerings. The original website was built in Joomla, which can make editing unnecessarily difficult. Additionally the staff was unfamiliar with how to use Joomla, but they were very familiar with making edits in WordPress. This impacted Whatcom Hospice’s ability to improve or update their website.
Website Solution
We moved the new Whatcom Hospice site to WordPress while still maintaining the original design, aesthetics, and content of the older site, per their request. The staff is familiar with WordPress and is now able to make updates at their convenience. While Whatcom Hospice looked for an in-house web person replacement, Accent45 continued to maintain and update the site. We will continue to offer fast and effective support to this site if any issues should arise.
